When we first travelled to St. Kitts in 1997 we had been trying to book a scuba vacation to Grand Cayman then changed our minds and decided on St. Kitts. Waking up to beautiful vistas that December, we fell in love with the island and the people. The economy was good, the weather superb – but the accommodating spirit of the people is why we stayed and started a business here.”

Gorgeous terrain and topography had the man from Tulsa, OK hooked, so back he and his wife went in March of ’98 to build their first home on the island. Since then, the developers of Sundance Ridge (a real estate sales specialist, an architect/engineer, and a contractor) have constructed over 100 villas on St. Kitts. The development team is well established and not strangers to what it takes to get it done. As Jaynes says “We know what we are doing!”
Like many other islands, St. Kitts had long been a sugar-based economy. The government shifted to a tourism based economy as the sugar industry faded and it’s still developing. In recent years, airlift has improved as American Airlines, Delta, USAir, and British Airways have scheduled nonstop service from major cities.
